The Space

Perfect for all seasons, wake up to the sound of the waves crashing below and enjoy magical sunsets on the deck each evening before cosying up in front of the warm wood fire. Or at the flick of a switch, the property also offers the convenience of split system heating & cooling.

An open plan style of living, you have everything you need for the most comfortable of stays including a Queen Size Bed (all linen provided), fully equipped kitchen, outdoor BBQ, Foxtel, iPod docking station, wifi and most importantly, truly spectacular ocean views from all aspects of the house. The property has recently been renovated with new floors, a new ensuite, all new deck area and a beautiful bath tub has been installed that overlooks those incredible ocean views!

Enjoy easy access to the ocean, with the new addition of steps all the way down to Wye River beach!

Neighborhood

Things to note about the area:
* Short downhill walk to The Wye River General Store (Approx 800m). Google estimates a 12 minute walk.
* Lorne and Apollo Bay are a 20 minute drive away.
* There is ample parking however it is shared with the owners personal home.
* We suggest picking up some supplies and champagne because once you have seen "The Deck House" you wont want to leave!

We are extremely flexible with early check ins and late check outs if possible, feel free to ask, however we can,t confirm these until 24 hrs of your arrival!

The Deck House -Wye River

Everything we could have asked for! Magnificent view on the edge of the ocean. So secluded and the fire place was perfect on a cold winters day. Will definitely be back.

Best rnr weekend

We had the most relaxing weekend in Wye. The view at the deck house took out breath away as we watched the sun rise and the waves rolling in. We arrived to the fireplace already set, and very quickly got into relax mode...much needed with our 3 month old baby. We will definitely be coming back!! Thank you!

Great view

We have stayed at The Deck House on several occasions and we love the view of the ocean and the pot belly fire. The view is relaxing and located 25km to Lorne. However, at this price point it is time to renovate. General maintenance is lacking, with a broken fridge door, broken safety deck wire and general updating of the electronics and kitchen. The TV and sound system have been swapped out for Low grade alternatives and this doesn’t match the description. This is only my second negative review of any property since using Airbnb and I think it is more than fair to make these comments at this price. The owner needs to invest!

Definitely recommend this place to anyone

It was excellent, the view, the accomodation, everything was perfect. I‘m definitely going again sometime. Everything was prepared nice for us when we got there, it was easy to access the house, we had everything we needed ready for us.
